I am captivated by the processes that form and transform rocky/icy surfaces of planets, and I am intrigued by what studying those processes may tell us about the conditions that controlled the origins and proliferation of life on Earth and perhaps elsewhere. Right now, I am excited about using remote sensing data to gain a better understanding of how local sedimentary rock stratigraphies on Mars correlate to global vs regional flux.
