I am an undergraduate junior majoring in Chemistry working as a NAU/NASA Space Grant intern. I am currently researching how the concentration of EPS generated from biocrust inoculation changes in various substrates over time. This is important for understanding erosion resistance on Earth and potentially identifying biosignatures on Mars.
